  • Dress:  New York and Company
  • Shoes, Wristlet and Sunglasses:  Coach
  • Hat:  Target

I took this basic New York & Company green dress and turned it into a not so basic ensemble by adding designer accessories from Coach and a straw hat from Target.

I love to put on a basic article of clothing and transform it with accessories.  I take the same approach when making daily decisions at work.

  • How can I take a basic idea and make it extraordinary?
  • Can I add an adjective to make this sentence more interesting?
  • Should I use bold and underline to make the memo look attractive and easier to read?

These are just a few questions I ask myself to make sure I don’t settle for basic.  Whether it’s an outfit or words on a piece of paper, I encourage you to take it from basic to badass!

Very interesting details you have observed, regards for putting up. “The only thing worse than a man you can’t control is a man you can.” by Margo Kaufman.
